HOUSING NEEDS
Information relating to the current housing needs for the JURHA jurisdiction can be located in the PHA 5-Year and Annual Plan or the City of Jonesboro Department of Community Development 5 Year Consolidated Plan FY 2007/2011, with additional documentation available upon request.
The housing needs of the families of the PHA waiting lists are listed in the tables on page 6 of 7 of the FY 2010 5-Year and Annual Plan. The information provided in these tables was obtained from the applications of each family on the waiting list of both the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program and the Low Rent Public Housing Program. Section 5.2 on page 1-2 of the FY 2010 5-Year and Annual Plan provide a look into the Goals and Objectives for each program and to meet the needs of the families on existing programs and on the waiting list.
A recent copy of the waiting list is included in the 5-Year and Annual Plan Work File for FY 2010.

HOMEOWNERSHIP
JURHA administers two homeownership programs, one for the JURHA Low Rent Public Housing Program and one for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. The Public Housing Homeownership Program has its own Section 5(h) Homeownership Plan, which provides guidance in administering the program. This information can be found immediately following this summary page.
The policies that govern homeownership for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program are located in the Agency Policies binder under Section 8 Administrative Plan in chapter 21 "Special Housing Types, Section G." Additional information can also be found in this section of supporting documents.
In addition to the homeownership programs, JURHA also offers a Housing Counseling Action Plan, which is presented by JURHA Housing and Community Development Organization (JURHA HCDO.) Additional information on this program is located in this section.
